Buccaneer Energy is an AIM-listed (LSE: BUCE) E&P company with development and production assets in East Texas, USA.

Buccaneer Energy’s core asset is the Pine Mills Field in the prolific East Texas region, USA where it has a 100% working interest.
Pine Mills is a shallow, long-life conventional oil-producing asset with high-quality producing horizons. It covers an area of approximately 2,400 acres and has been developed through a series of production and injection wells, establishing an efficient waterflood program. The field is covered in modern 3D seismic, and the Company has an extensive technical program underway to map and develop the remaining fault blocks.

Our strategy

Buccaneer is committed to maximizing shareholder value by unlocking the full potential of its long-life, shallow-decline conventional assets. Leveraging advanced technologies, we aim to extend asset life profitably and capture additional development opportunities.

As of August 2026, the Company’s strategy now also includes the development of on-shore European gas opportunities. This strategic shift responds to evolving business conditions in the European market, where favorable regulatory and economic factors are facilitating development to address critical regional energy security needs.

We will continue to actively pursue accretive acquisitions within our core operating areas and new gas development projects, striving to scale our upstream production and become a leading operator recognized for best-in-class margins and superior shareholder returns.
